The lifestyle portion focuses on rhythms of daily life (hosting habits, routines, and priorities) while the design questionnaire captures the practical details: square footage needs, kitchen layout preferences, specialty spaces like wine rooms or pools, and overall budget alignment.
Together, this information allows us to establish a thoughtful pre-design budget and architectural framework before pencil ever hits paper. It’s a proactive approach that minimizes surprises so that every design decision supports not just a style, but a way of life.

Early on, the construction process is intentionally expansive: filled with inspiration images, sketches, and open-ended conversations. We often describe this phase as the wide mouth of a funnel. All ideas are welcome!
As the custom design evolves in the home-building journey, the funnel begins to narrow. Our in-house architecture, design, and construction teams collaborate closely with the client to refine ideas, test concepts, and bring structure to creativity.

When clients do walk the home alongside our Director of Client Experience and superintendent, it’s a collaborative moment.
